What to Expect at a Naturopathic Visit

Your first naturopathic consultation involves a thorough examination of health history and underlying health issues. A physical examination may be performed based on your needs. An individualized treatment plan you are comfortable with is then designed and initiated on either the first or second visit. Your case is extensively evaluated and researched on an ongoing basis.

For acupuncture only sessions, a physical exam is not performed, but a Chinese diagnosis, case history, and acupuncture are done on the first visit.

The number of treatments varies, depending on the complexity of your condition and how long it has been in progress. The goal is to provide tools that educate and assist you towards your ideal level of well-being, at which point you consult your practitioner as needed.
